The Giro d’Italia has this Saturday the penultimate day of the race with a five-star day, with three mountain passes, one of them at the arrival and first category.
The section takes place between Belluno and Marmolada, of 168 km, which includes great ascents in the Dolomites, those of three historical ports.

The San Pellegrini, the Pordoi (to reach the highest point of this edition, at 2,239 meters of altitude) and the Fedaia to conclude.
This last ascent (14 km at 7.6 percent) leads to the heart of the Marmolada massif, in the Dolomites, through a spectacular ascent, with a steep slope in its last 5,400 meters (11.2 percent).
Key will be the day for the general classification, which is very close between Richard Carapaz, the leader, Jai Hindley, second at just three seconds, and Mikel Landa, third at one minute 05 seconds.
The Colombian Santiago Buitrago is in the group accompanying Landa, looking to move up in the overall.
The stage was marked by an escape of 12 runners, which included Mathieu van der Poel, Alessandro Covi, Lennard Kamna, Giulio Ciccone, Andrea Vendrame, Antonio Pedrero, Davide Ballerini, among others.
The first mountain prize has already been crossed and the escape has 5 minutes and 53 seconds over the leader’s lot.
