Singer Gianluca Zanelatto premiered on July 14 “Mate”, the first part of his conceptual trilogy, an ambitious project of three chapters in song and video format, which has the special participation of the Peruvian singer-songwriter Naïa Valdez ‘La Mora Cantora’ as its protagonist.
With a relaxed and romantic vibe, to the rhythm of latin R&B, “Mate” focuses on the flowering stage in a couple’s love story. A honeymoon where there are no flaws and everything is perfect.
“This single is about when you love someone so much that you overlook the things that can bother you,” explains Gianluca Zanelatto, author of the song, through a statement.
Regarding the name, “Mate”, the Paraguayan-Uruguayan interpreter based in Peru points out that it is related to his Uruguayan roots. “In that country, drinking a mate is almost a very important ritual, and therefore no one can take it and much worse serve it without your consent, since that action is disrespectful, almost an insult. (Mate) is that, when you are so in love, that you do not care about anything, except that person ”, he explains.
Under the realization of Den.ButNuez, the video clip starring Gianluca and Naïa expresses the peak moment of the relationship. However, in its final part, the detail of the glass vase that falls and breaks appears; is the scene that gives way to what will be seen in “Row”, second chapter of the trilogy.
