Bethesda Softworks and the developer Tango Gameworks announce that the launch window for GhostWire: Tokyo It has been postponed.
Initially scheduled for a generic 2021, the launch window is now set for early 2022 with a release on PlayStation 5 and PC. Through their social accounts, Tango Gameworks stated that the main reason for the postponement is related to being able to ensure a safe working environment for all its employees during the COVID-19 pandemic which is still hitting Japan hard. Here is the message from the software house:
We have decided to postpone the launch of GhostWire: Tokyo in early 2022.
We want you to have the game as soon as possible so you can immerse yourself in this unforgettable and terrifying version of Tokyo that we are working hard on. At the same time, however, we want to ensure a safe and healthy working environment for our employees. This new launch window will allow us to bring our vision to life in an even better way than we expected.
We thank you for your patience as we try to create a unique gaming experience that is unlike anything we have created to date. We look forward to showing you more in the coming months.
And waiting to discover new details on the terrifying horror title I remind you that you can find more information on GhostWire: Tokyo within our previous article.
