Well, a recent leak has confirmed that one of the biggest rumors of recent years will come true, since Ghostface, from the Scream series, would be the next guest in this mortal combat.
Although at the moment there is no official information from NetherRealm Studios, Interloko, a famous data miner, shared a video where you can hear almost all of Mileena’s lines of dialogue that have been recorded so far. One line in particular makes it clear that Ghostface is coming to Mortal Kombat 1.
As they could hear, Mileena clearly says “Ghostface,” making it clear that the iconic Scream villain will be the next fighter invited to Mortal Kombat 1. This is not completely something, since previous leaks had already pointed out this possibility. Considering that the title’s first season pass makes it clear that this character will not be available at this time, this only means that a second round of DLC is on the way.
