It had been rumored for quite some time and has finally been seen by fans of the genre, Ghost Recon Frontline is now official with endless features that add new formulas to the series, making it quite an interesting product. Lately, Ubisoft has been changing the business model of several of its main games, such as The Division and Tom Clancy’s for example, and this new Ghost Recon will be no exception.
Through a presentation at Youtube, the company finally revealed the newest in the saga, Ghost Recon Frontline, which will be a “New version of the Battle Royale genre” according to its developers. It will be a game based one hundred percent on PVP, all happening on the island of Drakemoor, a place that will not only host a large number of players, but will be full of challenges and surprises.

The most notable novelties of this new Ghost Recon Frontline are undoubtedly its online aspects, where 100 players will have to fight in groups of three to see who takes the supremacy. The map will have various dynamic objectives, which will change depending on the circumstances with the final objective of gather enough information to request an extraction at a drop zone. This will be one of the strong points of the game, as with this extraction all the remaining players on the map will be alerted to the location of that squad and the incoming extraction, and successful escape will be what leads to victory.
Together, it will feature great progression and customization, as well as three character classes; Assault, Support and Scout. Players will be able to switch classes on the same game, for a hectic and dynamic game. Although no official release date has been confirmed by Ubisoft, Ghost Recon Frontline will have several closed tests, one of them starting this October 14 for PC. The game will be available for Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, PC, Stadia, and Luna.
