Ubisoft released the trailer launch of theOperation Motherland, the new free update of Ghost Recon Breakpoint arriving on November 2nd on all platforms.
In Operation Motherland, players must free Auroa from the clutches of the Bodarks with the help of the Outcasts and Karen Bowman.
As reported by the official website, the update introduces the mode Conquest, a new alternative mode to the classic Story mode, in which the decisions of the players will have consequences on the island of Auroa. Various missions will be available to choose from, such as destroying targets, conquering enemy camps, stealing vehicles and deciding whether to extract or eliminate the four Bodark Lieutenants.
The will also return factional war in Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint. As you advance in the conquest of Auroa, the presence of the Outcasts around and in camps will increase, making war between factions more frequent. There will therefore be more checkpoints, convoys, hostage incidents and patrols on the island based on the presence of factions. The difficulty of these events will vary as regions vary – check the tactical map for details on each region’s specific challenges.
The Bodarks, the new enemy faction, are ruthless infiltrators and manipulators, allies of the Sentinel and the Wolves. The five enemy archetypes of the Bodarks will be present both around and in the camps. Each type of Bodark enemy will have different endowments depending on the biomes (mountain, urban and wild). Players will find new Russian weapons and vehicle skins in the Bodark faction.
Among the news there is also optical camouflage, unlockable in Conquest mode. This allows players to make themselves invisible to enemies from certain distances. The camouflage effectiveness can be increased with the advancement system to make it even more useful. However, activating it will consume a certain amount of bar per second, and shooting or running will increase the consumption.
