Dutch people who had just booked a corona test at the GGD then received a phone call: that they had to pay a deposit of 100 euros, because the GGD wanted to be sure that they would show up. It turned out to be an attempt by a fraudulent GGD employee ‘to make quick money’ for his gambling addiction. The Public Prosecution Service demanded 15 months in prison on Wednesday.
