Today, Saturday, Germany recorded the highest number of new infections with the Corona virus since mid-May, exceeding 100 cases per 100,000 in the past seven days.
It is this rate that the country uses as a yardstick to enforce a strict lockdown.
But Health Minister Jens Spahn indicated that Germany could coexist better thanks to vaccination, although he mentioned that restrictions such as wearing masks and limiting indoor activity for unvaccinated people would remain in place until next spring.
And the Robert Koch Institute for Disease Control stated that Germany recorded 15,145 new infections, today, Saturday, during the past twenty-four hours, which is more than 4,196 injuries compared to last Saturday, in addition to recording 86 new deaths, bringing the death toll to 95,077.
About 66 percent of the German population received the full dose of the vaccine against the disease.
