Future chancellor Olaf Scholz supports forced vaccination in Germany, German newspapers say Der Spiegel and Bild.
“At least I’m going to support it in the federal parliament, to put it bluntly,” Scholz said at a federal and state corona meeting on Tuesday afternoon.
In addition to Scholz, the current Chancellor will attend the conference call Angela Merkel and the prime ministers of 16 German states. The meeting to decide on new corona measures is expected to continue until late in the evening.
German media according to Scholz, he is pushing for a large front of political parties behind the vaccination coercion. The compulsory vaccination would be in force by February, he says Süddeutsche Zeitung -magazine.
About 68 percent of the total German population has received at least two coronary vaccinations. In Finland, the share is about 72 percent.
