Tepic, Nayarit.- The plane in which he was traveling Geraldine Poncemayor of Tepic, and her work team suffered an accident this Saturday while trying to land on the airstrip in the community of Mesa de Nayar, according to official information.
After this event, the mayor of Nayarit took to her social media accounts to report that she and her work team were safe and that they only suffered minor injuries. In the same way, she thanked all the people who cared for her safety.
“I wholeheartedly appreciate your concern for me and my work team, and your while of love,” he wrote on Facebook.
“Thank God we are all fine, just with some minor injuries. Tomorrow I will tell you the details of this event,” he added.
Accident
Tepc authorities reported this Saturday morning about the plane crash that Mayor Gerardine Ponce had when she was traveling aboard a Piper Seneca plane -registration XB-GDL- that landed in an emergency due to technical failures.
According to the statement published on social networks, the aircraft was left without landing gear and one of its wings was destroyed.
