According to Greek radio SKAI, Baldock, 31, was found dead in the pool of his home, located in the Glifada neighborhood of Athens.
Until now, there is no official report from the Greek police, nor any statement from the club or the footballer’s family.

Baldock, born on March 9, 1993 in Buckingham (England), was an international with the Greek National Team, because one of his grandparents was of that nationality. He played 12 games with that team, including five of the qualifiers for Euro 2024.
However, he spent the vast majority of his career at English promotion clubs such as Milton Keynes Dons, Northampton Town, Tamworth and OxFord United. He played seven seasons with Sheffield United, three of them in the Premier League, before leaving to play in Greece.
Baldock’s last game was this Sunday, when he started in the classic between Panathinaikos and Olympiacos, which ended in a 0-0 draw. That day he started as a starter, but was replaced in the 75th minute.
