For a very few now there was a campaign involving Elon Musk with Genshin Impact, through a series of steps that would have led the famous entrepreneur to visit miHoYo’s studios. No, you have not read it wrong, we are really talking about the CEO and CTO of Space Exploration Technologies Corporation, CEO and product architect of Tesla and co-founder and CEO of Neuralink.
After the recent leak regarding version 2.3, we return to talk about the famous game through what was a collaboration, literally, dead in the bud, through some very special events. It all started with the character of Genshin Impact called Ella Musk, a mangling of the entrepreneur’s name.
This campaign, of which no traces now exist, saw the achievement of a certain number of followers on Twitter, resulting in a reward for all users. The various players should have started following Ella Musk’s account, with the very particular name of Paimon2theMoon, in order to get to the collaboration with Elon Musk.
The first goal would have been to return the official account of the game with the name Paimon, while the last step would have seen the entrepreneur arrive directly at the miHoYo studios, complete with an official invitation. The penultimate step would see Musk do a live stream while playing Genshin Impact, so as to make the free-to-play title even more known.
Unfortunately the users Twitter they did not take the collaboration very well, delivering a huge amount of negative feedback that led to the cancellation of the campaign, with the deletion of the original message. The only proof is a screenshot made, present in our news and which shows the various steps.
The link between the entrepreneur and video games is very strong, also given the recent successful experiment, but perhaps it has not been well received by the game community, which did take immediate action. The campaign of Genshin Impact which saw the involvement of Elon Musk is therefore not successful, also given the recent protests on the occasion of the anniversary.
