Genoa – Genoa returned to training this afternoon in Pegli. After a two-day break granted by Alberto Gilardino, the team has started preparing for the match scheduled for next Saturday (kick-off at 3pm) at the Ferraris against former Juric's Torino.
As for the players who missed the Bologna trip due to the flu, there is good news for the rossoblù coach: the emergency is over so Bani, De Winter, Puscas and Leali will be available for the next match.
Vasquez, however, has some additional concerns who against Bologna left the field just before the 90th minute touching his calf. The Mexican will undergo tests tomorrow, Tuesday 9 January, to assess the extent of the problem. Thorsby, however, is heading towards a new withdrawal, still struggling with his calf injury. For the Norwegian we will have to wait for the match against Salernitana on January 21st.
