Once again, the “stupidity”, which is considered one of the most important characteristics of the Egyptian character, appears clearly in one of the clearest meanings of authentic chivalry.
This “stubbornness” appeared when a woman posted on Facebook a post in which she wondered how she could spend a vacation with her children in Alexandria with a sum of one thousand Egyptian pounds, which is what she owns for this trip, according to Egyptian media.
A large number of Facebook users interacted with the woman’s post and suggested her apartments for her to stay in. Others gave sums of money. One of them volunteered to drive her to Alexandria by car.
One of them wrote, “Speak to me and I will give you the key to an apartment in Miami by the sea. Sit in it as you and your children like.”
While Muhammad offered her to bear the accommodation expenses, “It is possible that the hotel’s account will be on me. Look at my nation’s departure.. and book for you to go to meet everything and book in your name.”
Rania commented: “I have an apartment in Cleopatra… you can come to sit for the days you need… You are a convoy of messages, send me. I don’t know how to send you.”
Assem commented, “I have an empty apartment in Abu Qir. If this holiday gift suits you for your children, you do not want money in it, and there is the sea and the food is cheap.”
And another wrote, saying: “We have an apartment in Alexandria that is locked, because we are out of Egypt, and I can leave you when you like and take the keys from my family there.”
Ahmed offered, “If you love me, I have an apartment on the coast in Sidi Kerir kilo 35, ready and close to the sea and with a private swimming pool, and at your command, six of all. This is a gift from me to my sister and her children… The important thing is that you are happy.”
Another offered another 1,000 pounds to help her with accommodation expenses.
