Wales captain Gareth Bale has signed a one-year deal with Los Angeles FC (LAFC) which includes options until 2024, the Major League Soccer (MLS) team announced on Monday.
Bale had confirmed his plans on social media over the weekend after his departure from Real Madrid. “I am very excited about this move to LAFC,” Bale said.

The 32-year-old forward, a five-time UEFA Champions League winner, he spent nine years at Real Madrid, joining in 2013 for 100 million euros ($107 million). With the Madrid team he scored 106 goals and assisted another 67 in 258 appearances.
With the white club he won 18 titles, including three Spanish leagues and five Champions Leagues, in two of which he contributed decisively.
