The former vice president of the Junta de Castilla y León and former leader of Vox in this community, Juan García-Gallardo, has reproached on Wednesday the “blackmail”, the “dirty war” and the “mosquadillas” of the direction of his party and has detailed that his “discrepancies” with the national direction “come from much farther.” Specifically, as detailed, they began when he was separated from the direct negotiations with Alfonso Fernández Mañueco (PP) after the crisis by the anti -abortion protocol.
In an interview in the Cope chainasked for the reasons for his departure from Vox’s positions, he has accused the national direction of his party to manipulate with “biased information” and “half truths”, with concrete criticisms of the Secretary General of the Formation, Ignacio Garriga, to whom he has responded from a “blackmail” related to the signing of the expulsion of the two autonomous attorneys – the bourgeoisa Ana Rosa Hernando and the Salamanca Javier Bernardo Teira – after having asked the National Directorate to be primary and “return to the foundational and root principles ”of the party.
García-Gallardo has been disconnected from the demands of primaries and the criticism of Vox for integrating into the European group ‘Patriots’, made by the expelled attorneys, since he assures that he does not share them.
However, he has recognized that Garriga’s “aggressive indication” to sign the expulsion was “the cherry cherry” of a series of disagreements with the direction of his party whose origin has placed in January 2023, when he presented the anti -abortion protocol which finally did not enter into force after the president of the Board, Alfonso Fernández Mañueco (PP).
“From that moment on, the party, which has then gone to war with the PP for other reasons that I share at the political level, decided to separate myself from the direct negotiations for the most relevant issues of my government,” Garcia-Gallardo summarized , who has criticized that Vox did not assert the agreement they had reached.
In this sense, he has criticized that they are “fills the mouth of the principles”, but at that time the direction of the party “did not care about the principles” on which they based their legislature agreement with the PP.
“It made no sense that people who had not been chosen were the ones who had interlocution, in this case with Mr. Mañueco for higher level issues,” he added.
This scenario caused a “progressive deterioration of the relationship with the president’s environment” (Santiago Abascal), so he has said that he prepared two reports at the end of 2023 and 2024 in which he requested “relevant changes” in the form of coordination between coordination between the national direction and the territories.
He has denied that he opposed the decision to abandon the autonomic governments in July 2024, if he was limited to analyzing “the risks and opportunities” of that initiative, because it is not seen as “a robot or a palm tree” before the direction and because he was aware that “it implied a difficult path.”
He has also denied that his resignation of organic positions in Vox, since he has reiterated that he will continue as a base affiliate, has to do with a possible march to the PP, while requested a reflection to the direction of the party on what It is happening to add resignations: “I understand that the secretary general is accustomed to treating other people, but that is because he does not know me and I never act under blackmail,” he insisted.
However, he has detailed that his output “is personal” and “is not coordinated or agreed with that of anyone else”, referring to Iván Espinosa de los Monteros or Macarena Olona.
“It is something that they will have to analyze, and I think it is a shame, because Vox should have a great ambition, should not settle for being the refuge party of the Popular Party and the pissed off voters,” he has settled.
