However, hopes were renewed when the news came a few days ago that HBO would be working on a sequel to “Game of thrones” starring Jon Snow.
To everyone’s surprise, the actor would not only plan to reprise the character that launched him to world fame, but it would also have been him who originated the idea in the first place.
This was stated by Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys and is a close friend of Harington, during an interview with the BBC: “From what I understand, (the series) was created by Kit, so he’s in the project from scratch. So if it happens, hopefully what you see will be certified by Kit Harington.”
So far, the aforementioned sequel is still in early talks, but HBO could speed things up to win fans back.
