Professor Massimo Galli, highly popular infectious disease specialist, television fame and king of pandemic talk shows, he didn’t show up at the last meeting of the Department of Biomedical and Clinical Sciences of the Sacco, before leaving office and retiring.
No greetings to colleagues and students. It’s a bad time for him. No farewell speeches? No hugs and kisses? No pastries? The investigation of the Milan Public Prosecutor’s Office on the rigged competitions, in which he was heavily involved, burns. So just a cold and succinct farewell sent by e-mail to a group of a hundred colleagues.
“Dear Colleagues – we read – today is the last Department meeting that I would have been entitled to attend before retirement. For many reasons I prefer to greet you at a future meeting, even unofficial. A cordial greeting to all”.
