The Fujairah Martial Arts Club won the Federation Cup for the youth category in judo, in which the Wrestling and Judo Federation launched its season from the General Sports Authority Hall in Fujairah, with the participation of 90 players representing Al Nasr, Sharjah, Sharjah Self-Defense, Kalba, Khorfakkan and Fujairah.
The champion won 8 medals, 4 gold, silver and 3 bronze, followed by Sharjah with gold, silver and 3 bronze, Khorfakkan with gold, silver and two bronze, and Al-Nasr with gold, silver and bronze.
And he achieved individual gold medals for different weights, Jabrwa Abdullah “Khorfakkan” in the weight of under 60 kg, Awad Nawar “Fujairah” in the weight of under 66 kg, Tar Youssef “Fujairah” in the weight of under 73 kg, and Saeed Al Naqbi “Fujairah” in the weight of under 81 kg Sultan Al-Houti “Fujairah” in the weight under 90 kg, Edgar Giroud “Al-Nasr” in the weight under 100 kg, and Mansour Abdul Rahman “Sharjah” in the weight above 100 kg.
The conclusion of the tournament was witnessed by Nasser Al-Tamimi, Secretary General of the Federation, Mohammed Jassim, Assistant Secretary, Brigadier Ahmed Hamdan Al-Zeyoudi, Executive Director of Fujairah Club, Issa bin Howaiden, member of the Federation and Chairman of the Eastern and Northern Region Clubs Committee, and Ali Al Yamahi, member of the Council representing the youth category.
Muhammad bin Thaloub Al-Dari, President of the Federation, said that the opening of the Federation season came as planned at a distinguished level that heralds an exceptional season, through this wide participation, which indicates a season full of giving, which is reflected on the national teams.
Ibn Thaloub congratulated the winners and participants, and thanked the authority’s hall management, the Fujairah Club family, and the contributors.
