In 2018, Hidetaka Miyazaki had an interview where he mentioned that since 2016 FromSoftware has been working on three and a half games. The medium was about Deracinea title for PSVR, one of these projects was Sekiro: Shadows Die Twiceand another was about Elden Ring. In this way, from this list there is one that has not been disclosed. Fortunately, Miyazaki has revealed that this project is already in its final stages of development.
In a recent interview with 4GamerMiyazaki was questioned about his statements in 2018. It was here that the legendary developer mentioned that one of the projects that was hinted at four years ago is already nearing completion. This was what he commented:
“It’s not the right time to talk about them in detail, but I think they are both typical games for us. It will take a little more time, but I think we will be able to tell you one by one as they take shape.”
The question is: what games are they? Although at the moment there are no official details, a survey shared by FromSoftware at the beginning of years hints that the studio would be working on Armored Core 6. The document mentioned that this project would offer a:
“Sci-fi world created by Hidetaka Miyazaki, [con] three-dimensional and dynamic action [y un] high degree of freedom in customization.
In this way, many believe that the series that has not seen a new installment since 2012 would be nothing to return. At the moment there is no official information, but considering that this project has been in development since 2016 and is about to conclude its creation process, maybe this year we will have information about it.
