After reports in the Chinese media claiming the unfinished preparations of the Indian Army, the India China Stand Off has said that it is fully prepared to deal with the strategic situation in any situation. In a statement on Wednesday, the Indian Army said that if conditions of war arise in the winter season, then China will face an army of India (LADAKH) that is able and strong in front of them Will stand
The Indian Army said in its official statement that the soldiers on the force of which China is spreading propaganda, have no experience of war in the field and high areas. These people come from urban areas and have no idea of the ground situation. In a statement on Wednesday, a spokesman for the Army’s Northern Command said that even if a war-like situation arises in eastern Ladakh during the winter season, the Indian Army will appear fully prepared and capable for it. The spokesman said, “India is a peace-loving country and we want our relations with neighbors to always be better.” We always want to resolve issues through dialogue. At a time when there are talks between India and China at the diplomatic level, even at that time we are fully prepared on the military front.
Ready for every situation even on short notice
The spokesman said that all areas of the Ladakh range fall in the highest mountainous regions. The region receives heavy snowfall during the month of November. Apart from this, the minimum temperature here reaches around -30 to -40 degrees. In these cold conditions many times the roads connecting Ladakh are also closed. But despite all these conditions, it is important to know that the Indian Army is fully capable of dealing with such situations. We have a long experience of doing duty in such areas and we are fully prepared to go into any situation even on a short notice.
We also have the experience of battlefield like Siachen
The military spokesman said that the world should remember that we have the experience of fighting in difficult battlefields like Siachen. China’s Global Times had claimed that the Indian Army was less prepared in terms of logistic capability in Ladakh conditions. In such a situation, it is necessary to clarify that in all areas of Ladakh, adequate arrangements have already been made for the Army including health, ration, weapons, clothing, necessary equipment. Apart from this, additional arrangements of all these things have already been made in this area since the worst conditions in May.
A new way to go to Ladakh
The army said that two routes were built to go to Ladakh in the east. One of these routes was on the Zojila pass on the Srinagar-Leh highway. The other route used to pass through Rohtang on the Manali-Leh highway. Now we have created a new way to Leh via Dharcha, which is shorter than both the old paths. Apart from this, the chances of closure due to its snowfall and landslides are also quite low. At the same time, the movement capacity of the army in the areas of Ladakh has also been strengthened by the Atal Tunnel near Rohtang Pass.
Fuel and snow removal equipment
The spokesman said that we have all the airbases along the road for the movement of troops and supplies in Ladakh. Apart from this, the modern items of snow removal and other important equipment have been deployed on all the routes connecting Ladakh when the roads are blocked. Adequate fuel and special lubricants have also been arranged in the area to ensure that the troops in Ladakh are not short of fuel to operate military vehicles, tanks or any other machinery.
Adequate supply of arms and medical equipment
The army said in its statement that along with adequate amount of fuel for transport to the higher reaches of Ladakh, spare parts of the vehicles have also been sought. Apart from this, special barracks, tents and heaters have been arranged for the soldiers here. In this area, the army has made adequate supply of armaments. Under this, everything from small arms to artillery and missile systems have been deployed here. Complete medical arrangements have also been made for the treatment of the health conditions and the soldiers injured in the war.
