Jean-Luc Brunel was accused of procuring women for the sex parties of millionaire pederast Jeffrey Epstein
Former French model agent Jean-Luc Brunel, a friend of billionaire pederast Jeffrey Epstein, was found dead this Saturday in his cell at the Santé prison in Paris, as confirmed by the Prosecutor’s Office. “According to the initial conclusions, it would be a hanging,” they told judicial sources. The French Judicial Police has opened an investigation to determine the cause of death.
If it is confirmed that it is a suicide, Brunel would have followed in the footsteps of the millionaire Epstein, who took his own life in August 2019 in a federal prison in New York, where he was awaiting trial after being accused of organizing between 2002 and 2005 a minor sex trafficking ring.
“His decision was not guided by guilt, but by a deep sense of injustice,” according to Brunel’s lawyers, Mathias Chichportich, Marianne Abgrall and Christophe Ingrain. «His suffering was that of a 75-year-old man stained by a media-judicial system, about which it would be time to question himself. Jean-Luc Brunel did not stop claiming his innocence. He multiplied his efforts to prove it », added his lawyers in statements to the national press.
Investigated for rape
Accused of rape by several former top models, which he denied, Brunel was the founder of several prestigious modeling agencies, such as Karin Models or MC2 Model.
The Prosecutor’s Office opened an investigation in August 2019 alerted to the suspicion that there could be French minors among the victims of the millionaire Epstein.
Brunel, accused of procuring women for Epstein’s sex parties, was arrested in December 2020 at the Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris when he was about to catch a return to Dakar (Senegal). The former model agent was charged in June 2021 with rape of minors over 15 years of age and sexual harassment in an open investigation in France for this case.
The news of Brunel’s suicide comes days after it became known that Prince Andrew, son of Queen Elizabeth II of England and a friend of Epstein, has reached a millionaire out-of-court settlement with Virginia Giuffre, the woman who accused him of abuse sex when I was younger. Giuffre said that Brunel had also abused her several times.
