Former soccer player Freddy Rincón remains in the Intensive Care Unit of the Inambaco Clinic after the serious accident he suffered at dawn last Monday in Cali.
According to the authorities of said medical center, in the last official report, the Coloso de Buenaventura is undergoing “some additional studies on your brain to determine the next steps”.
While a new part is known about the state of health of the old glory of Colombian soccer, relatives and friends continue to refer to the difficult situation. Freddy Stiven, one of Rincón’s two eldest sons, the last to do so.

“You have to stay positive. Believing that my dad is going to get up, I want to thank you all for the positive energies you give us. You just have to believe in God and have the faith that my dad is going to get up“, Freddy Stiven commented on Tuesday night, after the collective prayer that was organized in Cali for the health of Freddy Rincón.
“Obviously everyone knows the person my dad is, we have to be positive that everything will turn out well and that we will have Freddy for a long time”he added.
Asked about the details of his father’s condition, Freddy Stiven was accurate with the reporters who accompanied him: “The medical part comes out to say what they tell us too. We have to have a lot of faith that my dad is going to get up.”
“The idea is to be united because that’s what the family is for. That my dad knows that we are always there for him, just as he was for us when we needed him,” he concluded.
