Asian industry of videogames (beyond Japan) has exploded in recent years, with more and more high-level proposals coming from countries such as China and South Korea. This time it’s time to talk about a Korean game, one that will undoubtedly remind you of hits like Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and the gameplay of FromSoftware’s Souls. This is Project Relic, a proposal for action and dark fantasy who wants to conquer you with this gameplay trailer.
Shared by Gematsu, Project Relic, which appears to be a working name, is presented as a action game with multiplayer elements, on the way to PlayStation, Xbox and PC in early 2023. The Project Cloud Games studio does not specify the specific consoles, but it is presumed that they will include the new ones PS5 and Xbox Series. Inspired by the history of various ancient civilizations, the game is being developed by a team of just 9 people “with our passion and knowledge”, they affirm.
“We would like to offer players an opportunity to experience our new world,” they comment from the studio. “This in-game video corresponds to the final prototype of Project Relic. We believe this is just the starting point for its production, but we are confident that its final version will offer you an exceptional experience. ” With the game dated to 2023We’ll see if Project Relic delivers on its promise in a few years.
This is just another of the Action RPGs to emerge recently inside the asian scene of video games.
