During the 2016 Bastille Day celebrations, a truck rammed into a crowd of people on the Promenade des Anglais in Nice, leaving 86 dead and more than 400 injured. Six years later, France judges eight people accused of having helped the perpetrator of the attack with money, weapons and getting the truck. After the trials for the November 13 attacks in Paris and ‘Charlie Hebdo’, this is a new test for Justice and French society.
