Four suspects in organizing brothels were detained in St. Petersburg
In St. Petersburg, four suspects were detained for organizing brothels in the Central and Admiralteysky districts of the city. About this in your Telegram channel reported Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region.
It notes that with “the assistance of the special police regiment, three unemployed St. Petersburg women aged 31–52, as well as a 41-year-old unemployed St. Petersburger, were detained.” One of the detainees, according to investigators, managed the establishment, the other two were organizing the reception of clients, and the detained man worked as a driver. During searches in apartments, call centers and dens, bank cards, electronic storage media and notebooks with notes were found on the suspects.
Criminal cases have been initiated under Part 1 of Article 241 (organization of prostitution) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, one of the women was detained on the basis of Article 91 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation (grounds for the detention of a suspect).
In April, Lenta.ru was informed by the city prosecutor’s office that a pensioner from St. Petersburg would stand trial for organizing a brothel in a rented apartment. A criminal case was initiated against a 61-year-old woman under Part 1 of Article 241 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
