Four people were injured in a collision between two vehicles that occurred near La Hoya del Campo, in the municipality of Abarán, according to sources from the Emergency Coordination Center. Specifically, the injured persons are three women aged 15, 18 and 39, occupants of one vehicle, and a 33-year-old man, driver of the other.
112 received several calls from 10:38 a.m. warning of the accident, which took place at kilometer 2 of the RM-A22 highway. Patrols of the Local Police were mobilized to the place, as well as members of the Civil Guard, ambulances with health personnel from the Emergency Management and Health Emergencies 061 and firefighters from the Fire Fighting and Rescue Consortium of the Region of Murcia.
The 39-year-old woman was released from the vehicle in which she was trapped and later transferred to the Virgen de la Arrixaca hospital in Murcia, while the rest of the victims were mobilized to the Lorenzo Guirao de Cieza hospital.
