Four-metre crocodile shot in Malaysia after dragging man away
A man has been injured in an attack by a four-metre crocodile in the Malaysian province of Sabah. How reports Malaysian newspaper The Star reported that the predator was tracked down and shot.
The reptile suddenly attacked a man who was fishing on the river bank and dragged him into the water. According to eyewitnesses, its length was about 4.5 meters.
An hour and a half later, eight rescuers arrived to search for the victim. They found the crocodile 50 meters from the site of the attack. The remains of a person were visible in its mouth.

The rescuers fired five shots at the crocodile. Then, having made sure that it no longer posed a threat, they removed the remains and handed them over to the police.
Earlier it was reported that an elderly woman from India was eaten by a crocodile while she was relieving herself. Her remains were found on the outskirts of a village near a pond.
