Epic Games recognized Innersloth, the developer of Among Us, as inspiration for the impostor mode of Fortnite. This was launched in August and allows you to play with up to 10 users, with a gameplay similar to that of Among Us, but rebuilt by Epic Games in a 3D experience where you can take on the role of various characters featured in Fortnite.
This mode has proved very popular and the impostors continue to remain operational, as opposed to other game riffs (e.g. the homage of Fortnite to Crazy Taxi), in which they disappeared, while Impostori still receives updates.
Regarding the new features, the function Role Bias allows the player to choose whether he prefers to be an agent or an imposter and an open voice chat has been added, split between those who are and are not eliminated. Impostors is organized with 10 players grouped into a single lobby, consisting of two distinct parts: agents and impostors.
Agents must complete tasks or vote for all the imposters in order to win, while the latter go around the map trying to eliminate the various players. As you can see, this type of game is very similar to the one found in Among Us.
