What were we going to see in “Forrest Gump 2”?
“Forrest Gump”, based on the novel by Winston Groom, has a sequel by the same author. The plot is focused on Forrest and his son living in 1980 all kinds of adventures.
“I wanted to start the movie literally two minutes after the end of the last one. The world had changed. Now, obviously, the time has passed, but maybe some things should just be one thing and leave them as they are,” screenwriter Eric Roth said of the scuttled project.
