Formula 1 | Kimi Räikkönen’s confusing performance in Brazilian gp – only the top four were faster

Räikkönen had quite a bit of momentum at times, but it wasn’t enough for points.

Alfa Romeon Kimi Raikkonen failed to take his fifth-place finish of the season in the Brazilian F1 event, but drove to the checkered 12th place.

Räikkönen had a difficult weekend, but light was also found in it.

In terms of time, Räikkönen was the 13th fastest, but the poor sprint race dropped him to the tail of the whole group.

In Sunday’s race, he drove steadily with confidence and left his teammate again Antonio Giovinazzin (14.) behind.

The most interesting however, the reading can be found in the fastest laps list while examining.

Red Bull was number one and one extra point after a last minute tire change Sergio Perez. That’s how he took the point to Mercedes From Lewis Hamilton, which is second on the list before Red Bull Max Verstappenia and Mercedes Valtteri Bottasta.

Kimi Räikkönen is fifth on the list, leaving behind both Ferraris and McLarens. Teammate Giovinazzi is only 14th on the list.

Räikkönen’s performance was admired by fans on Twitter.

“Kimi Räikkönen, you are a genius,” wrote the user who shared the screenshot from the list.

“The old man in that wheeled turtle is faster than the Ferraris,” another chuckled.

Räikkönen is ranked 16th in the World Championships after collecting ten points in the last F1 season of his career.
