Formula 1 | Dazzling time trial from Valtteri Bottas – both Mercedes were left behind

Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc drove to a pole position in Miami.

Formula 1 series leading Ferrari Charles Leclerc took the pole position in the time trial of the fifth race of the F1 season in Miami late Saturday night Finnish time. Leclerc was third in the season.

Second, the teammate drove Carlos Sainz before Red Bull Max Verstappenia and Sergio Perez.

However, Alfa Romeon was responsible for the sensation of the day Valtteri Bottas, which drove to the fifth starting box. Behind, among other things, a longtime teammate from Mercedes, a seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton.

Bottas ’time trials were close to going badly wrong already in the first section. Bottas got stuck in the final moments and didn’t have time for a quick lap before time ran out. Eventually, however, he survived to continue as the last driver.

In the second section, Bottas clearly improved his time and drove the sixth fastest time. Even then, both Mercedes were left behind, and the pace only improved in the crucial section.

The fifth race of the season is scheduled for Sunday at 10.30 pm Finnish time.
