Former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo was formally indicted for a sexual offense this Thursday (28), due to an accusation that he had touched the left breast of a woman inside the governor’s executive mansion in December last year.
According to information from the Washington Post, the complaint was filed in the court in Albany, capital of the state of New York. The court issued a subpoena for Cuomo to appear in court on November 17. The name of the complainant was not disclosed.
The Democratic Party’s Cuomo resigned in August as an impeachment lawsuit against him was pending in the New York State House after an investigation found he sexually harassed 11 women and staged an attempt to retaliate against one of his accusers.
