Mumbai The ODI series between India and Australia will start from 27 November. Both teams are in tremendous form at the moment. This time it has become difficult to guess which team will be able to lead in the series. However, former cricketer Zaheer Khan believes that the result of matches between India and Australia will depend on the performance of the bowlers rather than the batsmen, as both the teams include some of the best bowlers in the world.
The Indian team has sharp bowlers like Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami, while the Australian team has fast bowlers like Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins. The Indian cricket team is in Australia for the full series which includes three ODIs, three T20s and four Test matches. The tour will begin with the ODI series from 27 November.
Zaheer Khan was part of the 2011 World Cup winning Indian team, he said, “Australian pitches always have good bounce and speed. That is why I think the bowlers will decide the ODI, T20 and Test series as well as how the teams perform as a unit to stop the rival team on low scores. ”
He said, “At the moment when someone talks about the top level bowlers in the world, all the names that come in our mind will be on the pitch for this series.” Zaheer also said that Steve Smith And with the presence of David Warner, India will have to face a tough challenge in Australia. India had beaten Australia 2–1 on their home last time, when Warner and Smith were not present in the team as both players were banned for a year in the ball tampering case.
The former Indian fast bowler said, “Now that Steve Smith and David Warner are back in the Australian team, the Indians will definitely face a much tougher challenge from their previous tour of Australia.” I am not a strong contender as both the teams have excellent batting and bowling line up and this will make the upcoming tour interesting to watch.
