Magnetic storms on Earth are expected this coming weekend, August 3 and 4. This reported weather forecasters from the Phobos center.
The disturbance of the planet’s magnetosphere is expected to begin on Saturday evening and will continue until at least midday on Sunday. According to forecasts, the intensity of magnetic storms will reach an average level, class G2. The peak of activity, as experts warn, is expected immediately after midnight on Saturday.
It is noted that the occurrence of magnetic storms is due to the ongoing activity of the Sun. At present, flares continue on it, the intensity of which is closely approaching the maximum possible class X.
On Tuesday, July 30, a weak magnetic storm of level G1 began on Earth. The disturbance of the Earth’s magnetosphere continued intermittently until Thursday, August 1.
