Tatyana Pozdnyakova, chief specialist of the Moscow weather bureau, on Wednesday, March 9, told Izvestia that a thaw would come to the Moscow region on the 12th of the same month, but this phenomenon would be short-lived. The temperature will be positive, about 2 degrees, which in fact will not lead to strong climate changes.
Earlier on Wednesday, Evgeny Tishkovets, a leading employee of the Phobos weather center, warned Muscovites about the arrival of frost in the capital. According to him, from Wednesday to Friday, residents of the capital can expect an “Arctic bag” with temperatures 7-10 degrees below normal.
On March 1, Tishkovets announced that March in Moscow would be dry and warm, the meteorological spring in the capital would come earlier than March 27, the usual date for the start of this period.
