Cloudy weather with clearings, intermittent rain, thunderstorms in places and up to 29 degrees Celsius await residents of the capital on Monday, August 2. This is reported on website Hydrometeorological Center of Russia.
During the day, the air temperature in Moscow will be from 27 to 29 degrees Celsius, at night a temperature drop of up to + 17 degrees is expected.
In the Moscow region, forecasters predict from 26 to 31 degrees above zero. At night, the thermometer will drop to +14 degrees.
South and southwest winds are expected at a speed of 6-11 m / s and gusts up to 17 m / s. The atmospheric pressure will be 741 mm Hg.
The day before, on August 1, the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia, Roman Vilfand, explained the abnormal increase in temperature in the regions of the Central Federal District: according to him, due to the arrival of very warm air masses on the western periphery of the cyclone, residents of this territory will face hot weather.
An employee of the Phobos weather center, Yevgeny Tishkovets, sharing the details of weather forecasts for August in Moscow, said that this month would be the opposite of July – “rainy and moderately warm.”
