“Now the snowdrifts in Moscow are 37 cm high, but today there is a thaw. There will be thawing, but the snow will not melt at all. Winter will recede only for some time, the height of the snow cover will decrease by a third on average, it will be about 25 cm, ”he suggests.
At the same time, the cold weather will recede only for a while, Tishkovets said. According to his forecast, February will be “wavy” – periods of heat will be replaced by cold weather, but the average air temperature will be two degrees above normal.
Recall, according to the forecast of the Hydrometeorological Center, an abnormal thaw awaits the center of Russia at the weekend. The average daily temperature will be 8-12 degrees above the climatic norm. Frosts will return to the Russian capital by the middle of next week.
At the same time, the Emergencies Ministry warns Muscovites that on January 22, fog will descend in the capital, and ice will be expected on the roads.
