In recent weeks, Ford has officially announced the imminent debut of one new Raptor version of the Ranger. It will be the top-of-the-range variant of the Blue Oval pickup: at the moment Ford hasn’t released any details of this version of the model, but it is reasonable to expect a number of significant improvements over its predecessor. Waiting to understand when the US brand will unveil some features of the next Ranger Raptor, the designer “X-Tomi Design” has created a render who imagines what the lines of the model could be.
The main innovations hypothesized by the designer concern the aesthetic aspect: the presence of one stands out at the front distinctive black radiator grille with the word Ford, elsewhere we find red tow hooks, a silver skid plate, small LED lights positioned above the grille and a bonnet with pronounced lines. The overview is completed by the flared wheel arches, both at the front and at the rear, and black wheels. From a point of view motorsport, the specifications have yet to be announced: according to the latest rumors reported by Carscoops, the 2.7-liter EcoBoost engine that powers the bronchus will push the new Ford Ranger Raptor, or alternatively the 3.0-liter V6 biturbo that instead equips the Explorer ST. Regardless of what the choice will be, the maximum power released by this version of the Blue Oval pickup should be around 400 hp.
