The styling is clearly inspired by the FTR750 flat track racers, and with the best will in the world we can’t be sorry about that. The eFTR is an electric minibike that has two riding modes, so your child can grow safely with the bike. In Low, the eFTR Mini reaches a maximum speed of 16 km/h, in High it is 22.5 km/h. Seat height is 468 mm, which should allow most children from the age of eight to sit comfortably on the floor.
The eFTR Mini is built around a tubular steel frame and contains a ‘proven electric power coupon’ according to Indian. The 24V rechargeable battery should be good for about half an hour of driving pleasure. Braking is only done via a (hand-operated) rear brake, so concerned parents do not have to be afraid of unexpected flips.
The price tag is not yet completely clear, but in the US the eFTR Mini retails for $500. If Santa and Santa still want to get together…
