On his second day of touring the state of Texas, the governor-elect, Samuel García Sepúlveda, met with his counterpart from that entity, Greg Abbott, where he announced that he will seek to replicate the model of return to face-to-face classes that Texans will have, by ensuring that it is the best in America.
Through his Instagram account, the state president-elect explained that the governor of Texas proposed that he have a direct relationship with the Secretary of Education of that State so that he can make known the plan to return to classes in person and in that way to be able to replicate it in Nuevo León.
“He proposed that we have a direct relationship with his Secretary of Education, he presumes that he is the best in the United States, who has already made the plan, the critical route to return to school in August here in Texas.
“So, I’m going to ask Sofía (Leticia Morales Garza, next Secretary of Education of the State) to have a close collaboration so that all the good practices of the United States and Texas, so that the return to school is given in the same way. a more efficient, safe and always taking care of the human right to education that our children and adolescents have, taking care of health and, above all, the socio-emotional issue, “he said.
In addition to this, Samuel also anticipated that they agreed to shield security in Nuevo León to protect the integrity of travelers who are engaged in cargo transportation.
Similarly, he commented that other topics he discussed with the US diplomat were foreign trade, support for the border through customs at the Colombia Bridge, and the support that Texas will send to Nuevo León with vaccines against it. covid-19.

As part of Samuel García’s work tour, he is visiting the Texas Capitol again to have talks with senators and deputies of that entity.
Samuel is given the key to Austin
Prior to his meeting with the governor of Texas, Samuel García Sepúlveda, governor-elect of Nuevo León, received from Austin Mayor Steve Adler the key to the city.
For the first time, he announced on his social networks, an elected governor received that distinction from the Austin authority.
Adler and the next state president met at City Hall to discuss investment issues, the representative office, the Nuevo León-Austin commercial corridor, among others.
