The proposal came from the hierarchs of the Catholic Church, especially the leaders of the Society of Jesus.
A suggestion product of the violence unleashed by organized crime against priests, in the Tarahumara of Chihuahua, where a renowned butcher executed two Jesuits in the region.
It is about the demand for a “national dialogue” -between citizens and authorities of the three levels of government–, which finds a solution to the violence and crime that keep the Mexican State and, especially, the citizens subdued.
A claim that was taken up and amplified by the influential Porfirio Muñoz Ledo, not only one of the most recent opponents of the AMLO government but a powerful adversary who put his finger on the problem.
Indeed, Porfirio Muñoz Ledo, who accused López Obrador of being a “narco-government”, took up the claim for a “national dialogue” and added the creation of a “Truth Commission”, capable of clarifying the links between the current federal management with criminal gangs.
However, here we believe that “the national dialogue” and the creation of a “truth commission” should be extended to the clarification and public denunciation of the almost 80,000 lies formulated by the Mexican president, in the 43 months of his administration.
And it is that just last Thursday, Luis Estrada, from the SPIN Consulting, revealed that in those 43 months of López Obrador’s administration, the Mexican president has made almost 80 thousand false statements; lies that make him one of the most false heads of state in the world.
That is to say, that it reaches the quality of a “national emergency” not only to clarify the links of the AMLO government with the criminal gangs, but also the complicity and corruption of the entire presidential clique, which in just three and a half years have carried out the greatest plunder of history.
Scandals of impunity such as the one that the president covers up on a daily basis due to the abuses of the attorney general, Alejandro Gertz Manero, who has become not only the greatest public threat to Mexicans, but also the greatest danger to the rule of law.
In a few words, the “Truth Commission” must not only investigate, disseminate and punish not only the abuses but also those responsible for the “narco-government” and get to the bottom of the complicity in the compulsive looting of all the Morena governments. and, in particular, to document and clarify the 80,000 lies formulated by President López Obrador.
What has been the damage to the country, to the institutions, to the citizens, by the lying, corrupt, ineffective and criminal government of López Obrador?
All these and many other questions must be resolved by a “Truth Commission”, a plural group that, in addition, must establish sanctions for those allegedly responsible and repair the damage caused by the destruction of the country, its institutions and, above all, by undermine public confidence in democracy.
For this reason, we propose a first decalogue on the clarification of the truth, of the damage –and the size of that damage–, committed by the lying administration of López Obrador.
1.- Until when, President Obrador, will we know the background and the agreements that led your government to order the release of “El Chapito”?
What kind of pact or complicity led him to Badiraguato, Sinaloa, to greet the mother of “El Chapo”?
Why did you order your government to “hand over the plaza” to criminal gangs throughout the country?
When will we know the amount of criminal contributions to the construction of Morena, throughout the country? How many elected positions did Morena hand over to criminal gangs?
How many and which criminal gangs agreed with Morena and with your government, President? What is Morena’s responsibility in the crime of “Los 43”?
2.- What shady deals did you make with the military, marines and national guards, in exchange for them abandoning the fight against organized crime?
How big is the destruction of social confidence in the military forces, which today are seen by citizens as mere decorative figures, leaving behind the respectability gained in decades?
3.- What pacts, agreements and/or complicities lead you, President, to defend at all costs an alleged criminal like Alejandro Gertz Manero, the Attorney General who, in fact, has kidnapped the President and his government?
What do you owe, President, to the alleged criminal Attorney General, so that every day you overlap him publicly?
Why does he allow a delusional prosecutor to hijack justice in Mexico and become the architect of the power’s revenge against society as a whole?
4.- Until when, president, will you put an end to the theft of your offspring, your family, your unconditional supporters and friends, who plunder the country without restraint and their end, in the eyes of all?
How long will he keep his word to sweep corruption from the Palace and even the humblest of his collaborators?
5.- Who will be able to investigate and sanction the irresponsibility of the State, in its presidential government, which caused the death of almost a million Mexicans due to the pandemic?
Who will be punished for the State crime that allowed thousands of children, women and men to die who suffered from cancer and who, due to negligence and stupidity, did not have the necessary medicines?
6.- Who, president, will be punished for the criminal irresponsibility of destroying Seguro Popular, which took away the possibility of health and life from at least 15 million poor Mexicans?
For that crime alone, that of snatching Seguro Popular from millions of Mexicans — a true State crime — should you, President, be in prison serving many years in prison?
7.- Until when, President, will you understand that outbursts such as the construction of the Santa Lucía, Dos Bocas and the Mayan Train are another State crime, not only because of the waste of resources and the ecocide that it means, but because such waste caused the loss of thousands of lives?
Who will sanction and arrest those responsible for such embezzlement and theft that is committed daily around those three “white elephants” that offend everyone?
8.- Who will pay, President, for the embezzlement of the NAIM, for the looting of the trusts, for the theft of the Fondem, for the immoral indebtedness of the national coffers?
9.- Who will be punished in your government, President, for the factory of the poor that your management turned into; a factory of hunger and misery that left the “poor first” in vulgar deception.
10.- And who will pay for the enormous social disrepute, for the loss of confidence in the institutions, for the imposture that the president turned into a presidential figure, after almost 80,000 lies?
Yes, there is an urgent need for a “Truth Commission” to bring the president and his bad government to court and punish state crimes; crimes that should keep López Obrador and his entire clique in prison.
