In Uttar Pradesh, ‘Mission Shakti’ campaign is being run for women empowerment these days. Under this, all the 16 police stations of Rampur were commanded by the meritorious daughters of the area. The girls, who were in-charge of the police stations for four hours, heard complaints from the complainants during this period and also fined the masks and helmets without checking the vehicle. Apart from Rampur, female students were given the command of police station in many other districts of UP.
In the morning police station area, daughters were checking vehicles on the road. During this, Shivrancharya Kashyap, the leader of Bareilly Samajwadi Party and former District Panchayat member, passed without a mask in his vehicle. When the girl students stopped them, the SP leaders started arguing with the Beach Road Police. The driver of the leader was also not wearing a mask. After this, when the police searched the leader’s car, five poles were found. Police arrested Shivcharan Kashyap and his driver on the spot. Later, he got bail from the police station. Superintendent of Police of Rampur, Shagun Gautam told that when the girl stopped the car of the SP leader, he came down and started mistreating the policemen. The leader and his driver did not have a mask. Further action is being taken against them by filing a case.
Police station in-charge arrived home to pick up daughters
On the occasion of International Child Rights Day, under the ‘Mission Shakti’ campaign, meritorious girl students were selected from various schools in the district and they were given command of the police station for 4 hours. During this, they were informed about the work being done at the police stations. The police officer-in-charge’s car arrived at his house to pick them up. In all 16 police stations, the girl students took charge of the police station at exactly 10 am and they were ordered till 2 pm. During this time, all the work done in the police stations was done with their orders or their consent. The daughters were not only given the chair but also all the rights.
