Timo Furuholmin the long football career ends this season. FC Inter striker striker announced his decision on Thursday.
Furuholm says on the Football Association’s website that he does not yet know how to specify his professional career in great depth.
“Maybe at some point after I last seriously played,” he says.
“Right now, the top feelings about my own career are good. I have played this sport everywhere and had a lot of great experiences. ”

In Finland, the attacker is especially remembered for Inter’s shirt, where he made his debut in 2005.

“It was a big deal in itself. My childhood idols were involved Jari Litmanen and “Tintti” Johansson. It felt absurd to play with them on the same team. ”
In the summer of 2020, Furuholm said in an interview with HS that the career is starting to come to an end. He had been able to study social sciences at the University of Turku and the family has two small children.
