Football Reality TV star Kim Kardashian West pays for an Afghan girl’s private flight to Britain

According to the AP, a rabbi living in New York Moshe Margaretten contacted Kardashian West and asked for his help.

Margaretten is the founder of the non-profit group Tzedek Association. The group previously helped the last member of the Kabul Jewish community out of the Afghan capital.

“Maybe an hour after the Zoom meeting, I got a message from Kim that he wants to pay for the entire flight,” Margaretten told AP.

Field are between the ages of 13 and 19 and belong to the so-called youth development team in Afghanistan. They had fled Afghanistan to Pakistan after the Taliban took power in the country. There were a total of 132 people on the flight.

The Taliban has banned women from the sport, and hundreds of female athletes have fled the country in recent months.
