Hradecký put the ball into his own net in a match against Arminia Bielefeld.
Finland men’s soccer national goalkeeper Lukas Hradecký has become known as a stunter and a great fighter for close situations.
In the owls, he has been the guarantor of victory on several occasions, and the title of man’s number one goalkeeper is undeniable.
On Saturday, however, Hradecký showed that even the best make mistakes, sometimes quite bad.
Hradecký, representing Leverkusen in the German Bundesliga, was in action when the team met Arminia Bielefeld as a guest.
Leon Bailey took Leverkusen’s lead after 27 minutes. Hradecký’s nightmare was seen right at the beginning of the second half. Left defender Daley Sinkgraven baited the ball to Hradecký.
Normally, however, a confident goalkeeper kicked an almost perfect hud. Unfortunately, however, he hit a little ball that took a pretty twist and rolled into the net.
Had Hradecký not hit the ball.
The match ends 1 – 1.
