The Algerian authorities placed former officials of the Algerian Football Federation in “temporary detention,” following an investigation recently opened by the State Prosecution, regarding financial and economic violations.
According to Algerian media sources, three former officials in the federation were placed in “temporary detention,” namely Mohamed Saed and Mounir Dabaishi, the two former secretaries-general, in addition to Abdel-Ghani Naqqash, the former director of the public administration.
Larbi Oumamar, a member of the federation, has also been placed under judicial supervision, while investigation sessions are being held that include Khair El-Din Zatshi, Amara Charaf Sharaf El-Din, and Jahid Zvezif, former presidents of the federation.
