Football | Lukas Hradecky kept a clean sheet in Leverkusen’s win over Bochum

The win was Leverkusen’s fifth in a row in the Bundesliga.

Bayer Leverkusen beat Bochum 2-0 in a German Bundesliga home game late Wednesday. Leverkusen’s Finnish captain, goalkeeper Lukas Hradecky saved twice.

Leverkusen’s opening goal was scored by a citizen of Burkina Faso Edmond Tapsoba penalty kick at the start of the first half. The Czech was responsible for the second goal Adam Hložek in the second half.

The win was Leverkusen’s fifth in a row in the Bundesliga.

Leverkusen is currently in eighth place in the league, seven points away from the top four Champions League spots.

First in the league is Bayern Munich and second, three points away, is Union Berlin, which rose in the standings on Wednesday after beating Bremen 2–1.
