Football Leeds fires Marcelo Bielsa – UK media says Jesse Marsch

Bielsa was allowed to leave when Leeds drifted into an ugly losing streak.

Football Leeds United, who play in the English Premier League, have fired their head coach Marcelo Bielsan. The club confirmed the Argentine coach was fired on Sunday.

Leeds, who have played in the Premier League for the second consecutive season, have lost their last four Premier League games with a total of 2-17 goals, most recently 0-0 on Tottenham at home. The team has slipped to 16th place in the series near the relegation line.

Bielsa, 66, has been coaching Leeds since 2018. Known as a demanding coach, “El Loco” led the promotion team to ninth in the Premier League last season.

Bielsa has received a lot of praise for his professionalism from Leeds players. The team’s inconvenience this season has been numerous injuries.

Bielsan an American has been raised as a successor to the British media Jesse Marsch. He piloted the German RB Leipzig during the autumn season, but was fired in December.
