Screening match the organizers will have to pay compensation to the public when the superstar Cristiano Ronaldo forgot to play a football match in Seoul for the entire game. The match between Juventus and the South Korean K-League constellation ended in a 3-3 draw last July.
The match, marketed by Ronaldo, sold out in just three minutes and was watched by 65,000 spectators.
On Friday, the Seoul District Court ordered the match organizer to refund all spectators half the value of the admission ticket and an additional € 38 compensation for each of the 162 spectators who took part in the class action.
The incident left the saying “behaves like Ronaldo” in South Korea, meaning to betray promises.
